LP2 - Antarctic Science and High Latitude Oceanography: The research line in Antarctic Science and High Latitude Oceanography seeks to understand the complex interrelationship between oceanographic and climatic processes in the alterations of polar oceans and different cryosphere compartments, such as sea ice, permanent ice shelves, icebergs, continental glaciers and polar ice sheet, as well as the impact of the feedback effects of changes in the cryosphere on the physical, biological, chemical and geological processes in these environments.
